The fitness industry builds programs for 25-year-olds with unlimited time.
I build them for dads with real responsibilities, real stress, and real life getting in the way.

I used to think I had to choose, mate. Be a present dad, or be in decent shape.
Build a career, or build my body. White knuckle the stress, or look after myself. But that's bollocks. You don't have to sacrifice one to have the other.
When your training plan supports your life instead of turning it upside down, results don't just stick, they change everything.
The online fitness industry had me thinking that if I wasn't training 6 days a week, living off air-fried chicken, and living like a hermit, I wasn't serious. That's not discipline. mate. That's delusion. That's somebody else's version of fitness.
Because trying to force that version of "fitness" into real dad life, with night feeds, career pressure, nursery to pay for, and a relationship to hold together, it doesn't make you consistent.
It makes you feel like a failure.
I'd had enough with the programs that expected me to put my life on hold to get fit, and the mad thing is that I used to build and deliver these programs when I worked full time on the gym floor.
I'd had enough of the guilt when I missed a session.
And I was finished with the fake pressure to get shredded in 12 weeks and sacrifice everything that actually made my life enjoyable.
That's why I created The Fit Dad Launchpad.
The Fit Dad Launchpad isn't that version of fitness. It's built for the chaos of having kids, a demanding job and a family that needs you to be the present leader.
In 8 weeks, I went from knackered, low-confidence, and constantly stressed, to lighter, stronger, and more mentally fit than I'd been in 10 years.
And the best part?
I didn't miss bath time. I didn't let date nights slip. I didn't put life on hold to live in the gym. And I still ate my Sunday roast with a bucket load of gravy.
I showed up more, at home, at work, at football, and for myself.
Because when you build momentum the right way, your whole life shifts. The way you look is just the bonus.
If you're a busy dad who's done with the constant stream of bollocks from the online fitness industry, and ready to train in a way that actually works for your life, the next 8 weeks could be the start of everything.
But I don't want you to just take my word for it, of course i'm going to tell you it's a great course, because it is.
Here's what other dads just like you have achieved...
These dads were exactly where you are now: stuck, tired, and done with programs that don't work. Here's what happened when they committed to 8 weeks.

"It's the best decision I've made in years. Rick's not just a trainer but a coach who cares and listens."

"I've the confidence to make better choices and understand how to make the most of my time so that I can stay consistent with my workouts."
Real men. Real struggles. Real results. Without the bullshit.

"Game Changer for My Fitness Journey!"
"I’ve trained with Rick for a number of years now having been a couch potato for too many years. Rick makes you think differently-not to beat yourself up or look back but always to move forwards."
- David Lawson

"Effective Workouts with Real Results!"
"You’ll never regret working with Rick and having someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Rick. He’s not just a trainer but a coach who gives a shit and listens. In a previous life I was a Professional Footballer, I was fit because of my job, after my career finished I needed the help to transition into life after football without piling on the weight. I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made and definitely want to continue that. "
- Tom Kennedy

"Best Fitness Course I’ve Ever Tried!"
"I’ve worked with Rick for over a year now, losing over a stone in weight after first completing The Fit Dad Launchpad programme. Rick's coaching in terms of building a nutrition routine and training program that fits around your busy day is invaluable and I would encourage anyone with weight loss goals to work with Rick."
- Chris Walsh

This is how I rebuilt everything at 40, and why I'm telling you this.

From the outside, it looked like I had it all sussed out.
Then life hit me like a double decker bus.
I lost most of myself. My routine. My discipline. My identity.
A stint in rehab. Three stone heavier. No energy. No confidence. No clue how to get back.
I looked in the mirror and didn't recognise the fat mess staring back at me.
And everything changed again.
The old ways of training? They didn't fit anymore.
What worked when I was 25, single, and had time to kill didn't stand a chance in the chaos of those first 2 years of being a dad.
I had to get myself back into decent shape. To build a body fit for purpose. To prepare for the day my lad wants to go and play football with me, to make memories.
But I didn't need more motivation.
I needed a system that actually fit my life.

I learned to be kinder to myself, and I realised It wasn't all my fault that I was struggling to get back into shape.
I used to be part of the fitness industry that builds plans for people with time, energy, and zero responsibilities, and then puts all the responsibility on clients when their program doesn't work.
That was when I was in my 20s.
Now I'm a 42-year-old dad of a 2-year-old boy.
I needed a program that allowed me to thrive in my life as a dad.
So I built something different.
I did a lifestyle audit to find how much time i could realistically dedicate to training.
Then i built a first 28-Day program with 2-3 sessions a week. Short, focused, strength-based workouts.
No silly diets. No punishment. No living like a monk. Just workouts that allowed me to show up, and that work in real life.
And here's what happened using those first 28-Days as a Lunchpad:
Now I'm leaner, stronger, and more present than I've ever been.
But more importantly? I'm consistent.
I don't rely on motivation. I rely on systems, on discipline.
I don't feel guilty anymore. I feel in control.
Because if you're anything like I was, tired, overweight, weak, and a bit lost in the chaos, you don't need more pressure.
You to take a bit of pressure off and a system to guide you through it, you need a way forward.
My way of training isn't about getting shredded as the end goal.
It's about showing up stronger for your kids, your partner, and yourself.
One of the beautiful things in this life is that we get to choose what we suffer for.
The suffering of doing nothing will always hurt you more in the long run than the suffering of hard, disciplined effort.
So let's start again properly this time mate.

It's the 8-week system that helped me go from 3 stone overweight and broken to the strongest, most present version of myself.
